My name is Frédéric Mesnier aka FMGuitar. Born in 1961 near La Rochelle (France) I grabbed my first guitar around 14. Learning by myself, I started with Marcel Dadi’s songs, in fingerpicking style.

Then I moved to classical repertoire before developping a more personnal approach with my own compositions.

In 2006 I began to share my music on YouTube. It was well received and pieces like Medieval Song have been shared extensively reaching more than 2,5 millions views.

Today my channel offers more than 160 instrumental videos. I perform my original compositions and arrangements, but also pices from other composers.

With this website offering sheet music and tablature, I’m happy to share further my music, giving the guitarists the possibility to play it.
