Frédéric Mesnier is a french guitarist and composer, born in 1961 and living near Paris. Self-taught and non-professionnal musician, he shares his music across the world through numerous videos available on the web, especially on YouTube under the username of FMGuitar. The fast growing number of subscribers to Frédéric's YouTube channel shows the popularity of his compositions for guitar. Frédéric's guitar playing, anchored in a strong classical base, merges styles and influences, which makes him hard to categorise.  Above all Frédéric is a melody maker. His music always develops evocative themes with a strong melodic and harmonic content. As an example of this - Medieval Song - one of his most famous compositions, has got so far more than a million views on YouTube and has been for several years one of the top rated video worldwide. This song is great. rnI'm having a bit more dificulty learning it than I did Flying Guitar Melody or Medieval Song, that are a level above this one. rnSo I guess it may trick a bick. rnI think the hidden difficulty has something to do with it being layerd in diferent rhythems, but I'll eventualy get it.rnOne thing I love it's how it evolves from a harmonic melody into dissonant one.
