I enjoy playing guitar but like even more composing for it. That's no a job, just a passion. A passion that I want to share here with you. My music, of classical inspiration, is a mix of various influences moving across the styles. Whatever it is, jazzy, fingerpicking, blues or something else, I always bring a special focus on the melody. That's what I like and I really hope you will like too. Sheet music and Mp3 audio are available in the download section.

Tribute to Jerry Reed. Mister Lucky (Jerry Reed / Arrangement Frédéric Mesnier).  Jerry was a giant of the American fingerstyle guitar and for me one of the most impressive. Guitarist virtuoso,  songwriter and singer very popular in the US in the 70's, he issued big hits like Amos Moses, Guitar Man, US Male...   He is one of the few to have been awarded with the CGP label (Certified Guitar Player) by his friend Chet Atkins.  His instrumentals for guitar e.g . The Claw, Jerry's Breakdown, The Madrugada... - played in France by Marcel Dadi, travelled around the world. Jerry passed away on September 1st, 2008.

YouTube is the place to be if you want to share your music. That's true for all kinds of music but especially for the guitar. Worldwide thousands of players use this channel and millions of people watch and encourage them. It's hard to expect a larger audience.

This issue of Guitarist Acoustic Magazine is just exceptionnal. I'm a bit late because it's been published a couple of months ago but better late than never.  It's a long time that I didn't see as many as good guitarists in the same place. In the DVD you can see a tutorial from Andy McKee with his unique way of playing (this guy is just a genious, impressive!), the great Jim Nichols and his guitar between fingerpicking and jazz, Juan Carmona for a master-class around Spanish guitar. The DVD format offers long enough videos, which makes this support really helpful for those who want to learn. That was the issue not to miss. If you don't have it yet, you know what you've to do! Let's hope that  Guitarist Acoustic will move on like this and also that the other magazine of the team, the famous Guitare Classique, will get the same content quality.
